Cake smash photoshoot
Turning one is a massive milestone in anyones life. These cake smash sessions are a fun and different way of celebrating their birthday. With the choice of different colour schemes you can really make the session your own. Themes for the shoot are listed at the bottom of this page. When booking please tell me which theme and setup you would like. (Subject to availability)
I can supply the cake, or if you know that your little one has a sweet tooth for a certain cake then you can bring your own. These sessions are not rushed and if your child needs some encouragement then we will make them feel as comfortable as possible.
Before we bring out the cake we will first take some images of your child with the decorations. This is firstly to get them comfortable with me, but mainly so that you have some a variety of photographs to select once the shoot is done. And to also have some non-covered in cake images!!!
We then bring out the cake and let the real fun beg in! Each child reacts differently and my biggest piece of advice for parents is to support their child but not force them to get messy. Some little ones don't enjoy messy time so we can give them a spoon and let them dig in that way!
Other children may not be interested at all, which is also fine. This is another reason why we do the natural photos so that you still have some beautiful shots to use for their birthday celebrations.
Once the fun with the cake is done, we will set up my brand new roll top bath so that we can wash them up and let them leave as clean as they arrived! This new bath creates some beautiful photos which will finish up the session perfectly! We can even add the letters to spell out one if you wish, or we can have it plain, its your choice! I have a mixture of different bubble baths so even sensitive skin is cared for. Or you can bring your own! Please contact me to find the names of the brands I have.

With matching baby grow vests still included it is the perfect way to celebrate your babies birthday.
Possible themes for session
A handmade One outfit is included in your package size 9-12 months. Made in your choice of colour. This outfit is yours to take home with you after the session.
If you wish to bring a skirt, shorts or trousers for your child to wear along side the baby grow then that is fine. Please note any clothes warn will get covered in cake. It is also fine to have your little one only wearing the one outfit, so don't worry if you do forget additional clothing.
